The week didn’t start out exactly as we planned. What with none of our weekend plans taking place for various reasons. That didn’t stop us though we still made the most of our time together.
Saturday saw us exploring Worcester. Of course I managed to squeeze in browsing the shops and Olivia-May got to play in the water fountains. Sunday we stayed closer to home. With a visit to the local fire stations open day and wellie shopping. Before we knew it Monday showed it face and it was time to get back into the working routine.
So without further a do here are my little loves from the week just gone –
I’ve been giving my Kindle a break and making my way through some of my paperback books. This week I have finished Me and Mr Darcey by Alexandra Potter and started The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena. I totally hooked by this book already. I have a feeling that there are going to be a lot of twist and turns and that things definitely aren’t what they seem. Im intrigued to find out what has happened to baby Cora and how all the pieces fit together.
I’ve never really been a real fan of Drake but recently i have been listening to quite a bit of his music. I think my favourite song of his at the moment has got to be be ‘Signs’.
This week saw X-Factor making a return to our screens. Although I think they have way overrun the program I still find myself watching it each year or at least using it as background noise while I work.
We also gave The Great British Bake Off a go this week. I defiantly don’t think its as good with the new presenters but its watchable. Im sure that we will still be tuning in each week.
I don’t have anything to report here, what with out weekend plans not working out we didn’t really get any photos. I then spent the rest of the week in my work uniform or my Pyjamas.
Olivia did look super cute this week though in this simple slogan tee and bloomers which featured in our #whatmykidworewednesday post this week.
On Sunday i made a plan of our meals for the week but then pretty much ignored it. Oops. I’m going to make another one this week and actually stick to it.
I also plan on doing some different crafts with Olivia this weekend so hopefully next week we will have some loess art work and crafts to share with you. I’m not expecting anything Pinterest worthy but I’m sure lots of fun will be had. Crafts and messy play are Olivia’s all time favourites.
I’m hoping that i can catch up with work this weekend and then the week ahead will be a lot more organised. But we shall see.
