Little Loves

Why mummy drinks, suits and festive spirit #littleloves

This week Olivia is finally better and we have been able to venture out of the house. We had a very festive weekend finishing the Christmas shopping, visiting the Christmas Market and seeing the lights being switched on. Then Monday was upon us and it was back to work and nursery.

I’m already really excited for Christmas this year. With Olivia being older she understands a lot more. Now that we have all the Christmas shopping done we can really enjoy this festive season together with lots of weekend adventures.

But thats enough talk about Christmas, grab yourself a hot drink and have a read of this weeks little loves.

I’m still really enjoying ‘why mummy drinks’ although I haven’t managed to read as much as I have wanted to this week. There has been a 101 things to do do and unfortunately reading has taken a back seat.

We have finally finished suits. Must say I was a bit disappointed with the ending. But only because I hate a cliff hanger. I’ve heard that there is going to be a new season coming out so I’m looking forward to that.

I’m still loving I’m a Celeb. There seems to be a lot more Trials that are being done in pairs in this year.

Joy and laughter in the air along with a whole lot of Christmas songs. It may only be the very beginning go December but everybody seems to be so much happier. There nothing like festive spirit. Christmas really is such a magical time of year with all the corals and fun to be had.

My slow cooker has been my best friend the week. I’ve pretty much used it every day. The Campfire stew that I made has got to have been my favourite. I never would of thought of using gammon before to make a stew but it was delicious.

Nothing to report here this week.

Its been a pretty tough week for me. I had a couple of late nights due to work commitments and then early starts meaning I have really missed out on quality time with Olivia. It’s not very often that it happens which is why I think I find it so hard. But I’m not going to dwell on the time we haven’t had and make sure that we make the most of our weekend with lots of festive fun.

  1. I’m desperate for Suits to start back up. It’s so good, isn’t it?
You’ve reminded me that I really must get my slow cooker out from the back of the cupboard and put it to use. It’s so handy for busy days (and busy weeks!)
    Have a lovely week x
