What a week. I cannot wait for some down time this weekend.
After a very last minute weekend away work has been super busy this week. On Friday afternoon Adam and I decided that we were going to head to Brean to visit family. Who said you couldn’t still be spontaneous when you became parents? By 9 o clock Friday night we had arrived.
We had such a great weekend without a care in the world, just enjoying being surrounded by family. Although it is very apparent that I can no longer handle two late nights in a row.
Our weekend away aside grab a drink and have a read of my little loves from the week just gone.
Vanished – I still haven’t got very far, but so far so good. I looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.
Olivia having a fantastic time dancing the night away and exploring Puxton Park during our weekend away. I love watching the way she interacts with other children, how she takes in everything they do and gets them to engage with her.
No new music this week. And I still haven’t got around to checking out any podcasts.
This week we have been busy getting our craft on and baking.
After seeing some pretty spectacular rainbow cup cakes in her Peppa Pig magazine Olivia was soon asking for us to make some. The colours weren’t very vibrant in the first batch we made so last night saw us having another go. These ones turned out much better and passed the taste test too.
Olivia’s first Toucan Box also arrived this week so we created our very own Aboriginal bowl. She hadn’t done any paper-mache before so it was something else for her to try out which she really enjoyed.
My new jumpers from Zara. I picked this mustard jumper up a couple of weeks and knew I just had to have it as soon as I tried it on. In fact I liked it that much that I also got it in black.
I can’t wait for this weekend, as part of Olivia’s Christmas presents we got her tickets to Peppa pig live. Im super excited to see her face and I’m just hoping that she stays engaged throughout the show. She’s really into Peppa again at the moment so I think she will be ok but you never know.
