Ping Pong, Holiday Blues and Slimming World #littleloves

This week has been pretty standard with full time work for Adam and I and a full week are Nursery for Olivia. But after the last few weekends being pretty chilled this one has been pretty jam packed. Friday night saw me and the girls heading to Watford for a spot of Ping Pong and Preosecco at Twisted Monkey followed by Cocktails and a good old dance at Walkabout.

Yesterday after spending a good hour debating what to do we eventually headed to West London to explore a park and lakes that Adam often passes when working. Opting to let Olivia have a play in the part before taking a walk around the lakes we soon got caught out by the ran. Unfortunately even though we knew rain was forecast for had forgotten to take coats so had to head back to the car. When we next have a sunny day we will definitely return to Northala Fields for an explore. Its the kind of place that you can take a picnic and spend the day. With Westfields just around the corner rather then heading home we decided on doing a spot of shopping. With each of us coming home with new goodies.

That then takes us up today. This morning we are just at home getting jobs done before we get to meet our close friends newborn baby this afternoon. I can’t wait to see him in real life he looks totally adorable in the pictures that i have seen.

But anyway that’s enough rambling from me without further a do here’s my little loves from the last week:-

This week i have finished reading Charlotte Crosby’s second book A Brand New Me. Ive always been a fan of Charlotte and find her books an easy read.

I have also started reading Me and Mr Darcey by Alexandra Potter. I wouldn’t say that i am totally hooked on this book yet but to be fair I’m not far into it yet so will give it a little longer.

Whenever i hear J Hus Did You See it reminds me of our recently holiday. This song was literally always playing in the bars and clubs. If only we could still be spending our days laying by the pool or lounging on the beach. Use are already thinking about next years holiday.

After literally shopping until we dropped yesterday last night we chilled out and watched Bad Mums. This film is such an easy watch which makes my think about the kind of mum i will be when it comes to Olivia going to school.

cold shoulder

I really struggled getting ready on Friday night. My wardrobe really needs updating and i definitely need to shift the half a stone a have put on since our wedding. In the end i opted for white jeans and this cold shoulder top from primark. I wasn’t 100 percent sold on the outfit but the more things i tried on and discarded the more depressing it got. I’m even more motivated now though to loose the weight that i have put back on to then feel more confident again.

On the losing weight note this week i have got back to Slimming World. Looking back i had got stuck in rut of making the same slimming world meals which is why i think i totally fell off the wagon. With this is in mind this week and i have made some of our old favourites but also tried a couple of new dishes too. I didn’t managed to get any photos of any of them though, total fail.

I have really neglected the blog over the last few weeks and i know i keep saying it but i really want to make a conscious effort to turn this around over the coming weeks. Hopefully i will get there. With no Love Island to watch anymore there really is no excuse.
