Im so inconsistent with my motivation for reading. This year i signed up to good reads and set myself a reading challenge. Its only to read ten books but with just under 3 months left until the end of the year i still have three books to go. I have got plenty to get through but at the moment seen to have lost my reading mojo.
So far this year i have read –
Charlotte Crosby – A Brand New Me
I have loved Charlotte Crosby since her Geordie Shore days and read both of her books. She has achieved so much since leaving the show.
Cecelia Ahern – How to Fall in Love
I’m a big Cecelia Ahern fan. Her books are such page turners and this one did not disappoint. She has such a way with words, often taking difficult subjects and turning them into books that are light and leave you smiling. In this book she covers the topic of suicide.
Blake Pierce – Once Gone
Every now and again i enjoy getting stuck into a good crime thriller. Once gone is a thrilling story with lots of twists and turns to keep you in suspense.
Giovanna Fletcher – Happy Mum, Happy Baby
Giovanna is so down to earth. This book is a must read for all the parents out there. She gives such a honest account of what life if really like as a parent, there’s no glossing over the bad bits.
Suzy K Quinn – The Bad Mother’s Diary and The Bad Mother’s Detox
This book is so relatable but at the same time a light read if your a mum that needs something to perk you up. It puts a humorous aspect on parent.
Shari Lapena – The Couple next Door
I found myself totally hooked by this book. It has been very cleverly written, just as you think you have it all figured out there is another twist. With the way it ends I’m hoping that there is going to be a sequel.
Have you read any of the books above? What are your must reads?
