Blogtober Day 13 – My Top 7 Films

We used to go the cinema quite a bit before Olivia was born. I think the last time we actually went together was when i was pregnant. Instead we now tend to watch a Sunday movie at home. Especially this time of year, snuggled up in front of the fire. Its usually quite an achievement if i manager to stay awake throughout the whole of the film.

As with reading i don’t tend to stick to one genre and enjoy a wide range of different films. My Top films include –

Get Him to the Greek

I’m a big fan of Russell Brand and think that he is fab in this film. Adam and I went through a stage of watching this film once a week without fail.

Dirty Dancing

I have loved this film since i was a little girl. I remember having it on a tape that had been recorded from the TV.

Pretty Women

This is another of my all time favourite films.

The Girl on the Train

Although i didn’t think the film was as good as the book it’s worth a watch.

Mike and Dave

This film literally had us laughing out loud. We definitely need to watch it again.

Bad Mums

I think that we can all relate to the mums in this film. I would definitely be a ‘bad mum’.

In Time

I love the spin this film puts on wealthy and poor.

Have you watched any of these? What are your favourite films?

  1. I keep meaning to watch The Girl on the Train – I want to read the book too though and usually prefer to read the book first. Is In Time the Justin Timberlake one? We watched it in a motel on our honeymoon in America 🙂 I did enjoy it though. #Blogtober

    1. I read the book before watching the film. I think its better that way as then you build your own picture up in your head. Yes, its the Justin Timberlake one.
